1- New arrivals from inside Burma must be war refugees. They can’t
come to refugee camps one by one. They must come by groups. If they
are not war refugee, they can be arrested. Thai MOI will consider
accepting war refugee as a refugee.
2- When new arrivals come to refugee camps, firstly new arrivals have
to inform Thai Army and then Thai Army will take them to refugee
camps.
3- MOI made decision not to provide the new arrivals with food
rations
4- Refugees must stay in located refugee camps. If they stay outside
the camps, they must have any document of Thailand . If they don’t
have any document to stay outside the camps, they will be arrested.
For the refugee, who stays outside the refugee camps, their privileges
as a refugee will be cut off.
5- The people who holds any kind of Thai documents, they can stay
outside the camps, but they won’t have any privilege like a refugee.
6- If the person, who holds Thai hill tribe card, wants to remain as a
refugee, they can stay in refugee camps, but they have to hold only
refugee identity card. They can’t hold Thai hill tribe cards as well.
7- The refugees who already have a BMN registration willl be provided
with refugee identity cards, but the refugees who are not BMN, such as
those who have PAB status, will not be provided with refugee identity
cards.
